I'm passionate about using design to impress users with creative interfaces that feel deeply considerate.

I chose to pursue product design because of how user focused design allows me to ideate upon unique solutions for unique problems. I began university pursuing premed, because I was passionate about humanity in health care, and developing a thorough sense of patient empathy. This was until I discovered product design, and learned how it allowed me to pursue this same avenue of humanity by using empathy to develop solutions to address user struggles.

OFF THE CLOCK

I try to be as curious as possible! One of my greatest motivations is having the curiosity to explore what I don't know and to create what I don't have. In the past, I've experimented with carving hanko or "name stamps," (my logo!) and I love baking pavlova, a sweet summer merengue. I also love exploring in general—people, culture, and cityscapes. I believe it's endlessly important to have a cultured perspective.
